Listening to a classic rock song performed by an orchestra can be painful listening experience. This proposal has had disastrous results on several occasions. In any slot machine (proliferate rapidly in the music industry) or produced albums by the artists themselves, the results are uneven. On occasion, the themes are explored in a bombastic, grandiloquent to the extreme. When Iron Maiden came on the scene New Wave of British Heavy Metal in the late 1970s, it was like a wave of creativity to invade England. The secret of the band was its constant evolution: finding new ways to invest in creativity and music, showing all the fire power and eclecticism of heavy rock.
Skins created by Derek Riggs and the band's mascot, Eddie, was an attraction, especially for the avid consumer in the era of vinyl. One could note the number of small details that were in each illustration, which was lost with the advent of the CD. Read More »

What to expect from the new CD of Ozzy Osbourne? After all, the singer apparently left behind after his best CD No More Tears, 1991. His recent compositions showed good, but the creativity was dispersed. The energy contained and dosed away from the massive strength and explosive of the past.
And what to think of his band, completely renovated? Read More »

Jeff Beck is a master of the guitar and owns a remarkable eclecticism. Since its rise in the British rock group the Yardbirds in the 1960s and the beginning of his own enterprise, the Jeff Beck Group, with the album Truth (1968), the musician has moved for several musical genres like blues, soul, jazz, pop, techno. This is a concept that has always kept him active and in focus: Beck is the band's sound metamorphosis. Read More »

In the late '70s, a musical movement won the pop charts on the planet: the new wave. Besides the direct influence of punk, there was room for many sounds: the British '60s pop, surf music, reggae, rock 'n' roll pioneers of the 50s. A faction in particular was dedicated to electronics to create their sound. Thus arose the techno or synth rock.
The starting point for the German electronic techno music was produced in the '70s by bands like Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream. It was through this musical proposal, known as School of Berlin, which created the myth Giorgio Moroder Donna Summer disco era. It was the cultural boundary Germanic techno movement (acid house, drum 'n' bass, trip hop, trance, etc..) Sought resources to produce his compositions. Read More »

Great expectations. How would the 26th edition of Expomusic?
